everyone knows that there are stages of cool.

first, things appear just outside of cool. second, lots of people join in and start doing/using it. then, corporate america capitalizes on it by mass marketing name brand versions, and finally it filters down through the working class and all the cool people hate it.

and yet people still cry and complain everytime it happens.

it always happens.
