okay, so retail is not the greatest profession to go into. it's usually reserved for naive teenagers and broke college students. that didn't seem to stop me though.

so this is me taking a little time here to dispel some myths of the retail industry.

the back.

first, the back is not some magical land where all sizes and all colors of anything you ever wanted dance around just waiting to be found.

second, the back is not some insider's codeword when uttered we immediately dash off and get it for you.

"do you have it in...the back?
"oohhhh, the back...hold on"

it does not work like this.

and just because an item is within a ten-yard radius of a sale sign does not necessarily mean it's on sale.

and finally, when it says two for twenty, it means two for twenty. if it was one for ten there would be a sign.
