i'm really glad i don't live in katy anymore.

it says something when you hang out in the beer aisle at the neighborhood supermarket and you run into half of your graduating class.

today was an odd day.

my brother told me he has decided to ruin his life in two ways.

marriage and the armed forces.

marriage is obviously the lesser of the two, there is always divorce.

but the army? seriously do you know people who have come back from the army? they come back weird for some reason. slightly psychotic with a dash of a matter-of-factness to them.

they call it disclipine if you ask them, then they might go on about the lack thereof which is usually the part where i walk away.

this makes it impossible to hold any kind of entertaining conversation with them.
